At the core of the PDX is Maxim’s patented SCW (Super Compact Weapon) system — a 4″ brace system with an integrated bolt carrier group and interchangeable buffer weights. This innovative design delivers enhanced recoil control, faster follow-up shots, and improved reliability across a range of operating conditions.

The PDX ships standard with Maxim’s HATEBRAKE muzzle booster, installed beneath the handguard to reduce felt recoil, decrease flash signature, and redirect blast forward. Whether running suppressed or unsuppressed in close-quarters environments, the HATEBRAKE keeps your setup fast, controlled, and low-profile.
